I have now received my products from www.pearl-daisy.com and have had a brief chance to experiment. Continuing on my lace theme from last week, I used the pearl-daisy underscarf to create an arrangement with some lace I have previously used to customise a dress! The teal scarf is a hoojab, very hastily thrown on at work which just proves how easy it is to create something casual with this piece.

ReplyDeleteWhat is a hoojab? I've heard other blogs talking about this, but I must be out of the "age bracket" of marketers or something!!
Oh -- another thing-- that beautiful flowered thing -- is it a wrap around style, a sock style?? I've been browsing their website, but I'm not able to see that!
ReplyDeleteAh the hoojab is a pashmina style scarf resewn into a hood with two long side pieces of fabric. Amena has posted a tutorial here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnyvyuBBAjA the flower underscarf is on www.pearl-daisy.com under products/scarves/underscarves, its like a slightly more complicated version of the basic cap, and really ties itself! Hope this helps x
